With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan Annette Young of Durham, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 17, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Walder Young Jr. and Eloise Hocutt Young. She is survived by: her stepmother Claudia Young; her sisters, Gail Attula (Gary) and Barbara Jackson (Jeff); her children, Nichol Tate (Joseph), Brittaney Smith, Derek Jackson, Scott Attula and Emma Kirk (Caleb); and her grandchildren, Alex Tate, Teagan Tate, Abby Sue Tate, Callan Tate, Jackson Smith, Ginna Belle Tate, Ela Smith and Bruce Tate.
