He is survived by: his parents, Stephen Bernard and Mary Anne Brzezinski Novotny; his son Gregory Thomas Novotny of Durham, NC; his siblings, Tom Novotny (Debbie) of Chicago, IL and Janet Novotny Winger (Joe) of Detroit, MI; his niece Shannon Ferrare; his aunt Theresa Novotny; and also, Jim Novotny and Karen Coughlin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
