She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Castillo and Rufina Solis Catillo; and her siblings, Julita Olimpo, Meynardo Castillo and Antonio Castillo.

She is survived by: her sisters, Gloria Acob and Lita Castillo of Durham. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnephews, grandnieces, great grandnieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Matthew Catholic Church.
