He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Helen Claire Hopson Lindsey. He is survived by: his wife Sue Lindsey; his children, Bonnie Beverly (Eddie), Marty (Aralu) of Chapel Hill, NC and Terry (Lucia); his grandchildren, Jessica Whitfield (Ray), Jeremy Payne, Will Lindsey, Sam Lindsey, Davis Lindsey and Ben Lindsey; his great grandchildren, Trace Whitfield and Tanner Whitfield; his great great grandchildren, Amberle and Jameson Whitfield; and also Tommy Lindsey.
