We are sad to announce that on March 29, 2025, at the age of 81, Shirley Ann Rooker Pojman of Durham, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Shirley Ann Rooker may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Rooker and Elaine Rooker; and her brother Alfred "Butch" Rooker. She is survived by: her children, Kelly Pojman O'Quinn (Jonathan O'Quinn), Kenneth Brian Pojman (Kimberly Pojman) and Kevin Pojman (Jennifer Pojman); and her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Pojman, Kayley Pojman, Ally Pojman and Penelope Pojman.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the North Durham Baptist Church (6036 Guess Rd, Durham, NC 27712).
