She was predeceased by: her father Walter J. Smith; her husband Robert Stempfel Jr.; and her brother Robert Smith. She is survived by: her children, Anna Zatkoff (Gary) and Theodore Stempfel III; her grandchildren, Joseph Zatkoff (Cate), Katherine Rubin (Simon) and Roger Zatkoff (Megan); and also, Benjamin Zatkoff, Maxwell Zatkoff, Brian Rubin, Olivia Zatkoff, Reagan Rubin and Elijah Rubin.
