He was predeceased by: his brother Emil Heller Henning III; and his parents, Dr. Emil Heller Henning, Jr. and Ruth Farnham Henning. He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise Henning (Hill); his son Brian Andrew Henning; his brother John F. Henning, Sr. (Julie) of Franklin, NC; and his nephews, John F. Henning, Jr. and Lee Heller Henning.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Christian Assembly Church (5516 N Roxboro St, Durham, NC 27712).
Eventually, he had to give this up due the early symptoms of Alzheimer's Disease.
