He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Isom Mitchell; his children, Michael Lindsay Mitchell (Terri), Tricia Strong-Tharpe and Robyn Belinda Mitchell; his grandchildren, Michael Stephen Mitchell (Amanda), Lindsay Carol Covington (Jordan), Harmony Noel Vuycankiat (Eric), Hannah Musette Phillips and Jessie Elizabeth Abadie (Zachary); and his great grandchildren, Caleb Gill, Brayden Mitchell, Harvey Covington, Riley Covington, Jordan Covington Jr., Donovan, Seth, Grace, Joanna Vuycankiat, Audrey Harrell, Layla, Alice Phillips, Zoe McNeill, Avian and Willow Gaines.
