With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard MacPhail of Durham, North Carolina, born in Midland, Michigan, who passed away on October 2, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Susan MacPhail; his children, Joseph and Katherine MacPhail; his sister Laurie MacPhail; and his parents, Arthur "Lynn" Allyn MacPhail and Barbara "Barb" Ann MacPhail.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Maplewood Cemetery (1621 Duke University Rd, Durham, NC 27701).
