He was predeceased by: his father Garland Worth Gibson; and his daughter Jennifer Gibson. He is survived by: his mother Mary McGhee Gibson; his siblings, Charles A. Gibson (Gail), Markcul L. Gibson, Gracie Varnum, Brenda Gibson, Betty Sue Street, Shelia White, Patricia Williams (Randy) and Candy White (Kirk); and his niece Karen Jensen.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hudson Funeral Home and Cremation Services (211 S Miami Blvd, Durham, NC 27703).
