He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lester Stovall II and Virginia Toler; and his brother Terry Toler. He is survived by: his wife Connie Stovall; his children, Jessica Stovall Horner (Randall), David Stovall (Denise), Eric Stovall, Jason Stovall (Misti), Matt Green (Kaylee) and Chris Green (Courtney); his grandchildren, Conner Horner, Becca Cotton (Cody), Cameron Stovall, Madi Stovall, Hayden Stovall, Emerson Stovall, Alma Stovall and Milo Stovall; his great grandchild Banks Oakley Cotton; his sisters, Vanessa Gay Stonesifer (Ed) and Sonya Jones (Ben); and his nephew Dylan Jones.
A memorial service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Clements Funeral Chapel (1105 Broad St, Durham, NC 27705).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
