Though Penny Rai may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Penny Rai leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Short and Barbara Anne Willard Short. She is survived by: her boyfriend Barrett Stephens; her sister Lori Short Grafton; her brother-in-law Michael Grafton; her sister Paige Short Boyette of Durham; her nephew Harley Grafton (Leigh Iler Grafton) of Durham; and her niece Haley Grafton (Miles Harnad) of Charlotte.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Clements Funeral Chapel (1105 Broad St, Durham, NC 27705). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
