It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia McCarson (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Thomas Tilley, Jr. and Dorothy Tilley; and her husband Ira Lee McCarson. She is survived by: her children, Stacey Eakes (James), Scottie Lee McCarson and Matthew Thomas McCarson (Leigh); her grandchildren, Kadie McCarson, Rebecca Grothe (Shane), Kaylee Eakes, Anna McCarson and Jackson Eakes; and her great grandchildren, Raegan Grothe "Sweet Pea" and RJ Wells III.
