He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Claude High and Annie Mae Dodd. He is survived by: his wife Hiam Kiblawi of Durham; his sister Diane Matthis of Stem, NC; his children, Stacey Mangum (Jason) of Timberlake, Ahmad Mansoor of Durham and Noor Mansoor of Durham; and his grandchildren, Janeen Webb, Devin Miles (Jay), Christopher and Andrew Mangum. He is also survived by cousins and nephews.
