“I met Nathan in 1981 in his office on Parrish street in Durham. He hired me on the spot after we talked for a few minutes because I guess he saw someone he wanted to assist in becoming a better accountant and a potential CPA. I became a CPA because of his mentoring and support of a young black man who needed guidance. He never stopped doing that the entire time I worked for him. I will always have great respect and appreciation for him. He will be missed. He will be resurrected. Acts 24:15.”
