He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Burrage, Sr. and Cora Neal Burrage; his wife Frances Burrage; his son Wayne R. Burrage; his siblings, Ben Burrage and Margie Knight; and his great grandchild Taylar Burrage.
He is survived by: his son Jerry M. Burrage (Marilyn); his grandchildren, Michael Todd Burrage, Kelley Lynn Young (Matt) and Jennifer Capps (Steve); his great grandchildren, Hunter Burrage and Morgan Emmons (Gabe); and his grandchild Kiersten Capps. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hudson Funeral Home Chapel (211 S Miami Blvd, Durham, NC 27703). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
