He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Elwyn and Norma June Maxfield. He is survived by: his wife Bernadette McLean Maxfield; his children, Eric J Maxfield and Grace L Maxfield; his grandchildren, Meadow McMahon and Lennon McMahon; and his brothers, Richard Maxfield (Mary) and Robert Maxfield. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to American Diabetes Association.
