She was predeceased by: her parents, Reitzel Bowman and Georgie Carrie Hancock Bowman; her husband Robert "Bob" Veasey; and her son Roger Veasey. She is survived by: her son Ken Veasey (Lisa) of Florence, SC; her stepgrandchildren, Carson Munn, Hampton Munn and Turner Munn; and her sister Lu Bowman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
