She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hughes Rimmer and Beatrice Breeze Rimmer. She is survived by: her children, John Thompson (Holly), Gary Thompson (Bennie), Dena Thomas (Ben) and Peggy DePasquale (Mark); her sister Alta Winstead of Roxboro; and her close friend Duncan Heron. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
