Mary Ann left this world on April 26, 2024 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Matthews and Lessie Mae Williamson Matthews; her son Jason West; her granddaughter Haley West; and her siblings, Herbert Matthews, Jr., James "Whacky" Matthews, John G. "Buck" Matthews, Ralph Alps Matthews, Robert Lee Matthews and Eula Belle Matthews Blanks.
She is survived by: her husband Leo JC Edwards; her sons, Harvey West (Rhonda) of Bullock, NC and Dennis West (Brenda) of Raleigh; and her grandchildren, Megan West, Clifton West and Kalon West. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In honor of Mary's memory, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Stovall Methodist Church in lieu of flowers.
