She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Williams Umstead Sr. and Juanita Perdomo Umstead; her brother Walter Williams Umstead Jr.; her great-nephew Paul Williams Umstead; and her aunt Nativa Perdomo.
She is survived by: her brother Richard Umstead; her nephew Paul Umstead; and her niece Catherine Downes.
