She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Guy and Clydie Dillard Turner; her daughter Patricia Dawn Bridges; and her sisters, Frances, Doris, Joanne, Alice and Betty "Shorty".

She is survived by: her daughters, Kim Bridges Walker (Clay) and Robbie (Bobby Coates). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
