As Lucile departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lucile may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lucile leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Geneva Easterling Percell and John Pecellr. She is survived by: her husband Charles "Chuck" Rochelle; her siblings, John "Bubba" Percell, Jimmy Earl Purcell (Glenis), Jimmy Lane Percell, Beatrice Hasty (Sam) and Annie P. Crawford (Kenny); her daughter Ashely Latasha Rochelle; and her brother Charles Percell (Nancy). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hanes Funeral Chapel (460 S Driver St, Durham, NC 27703). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at the Glennview Memorial Gardens (2515 NC-55, Durham, NC 27713).
