She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry P. Ruppenthal and Erma Ruth Tutwiler Ruppenthal; and her husband Lewis Elbert Wethington. She is survived by: her sister Ethel Barlow; her daughter Lois; her family Lois; and her children, Olin (Nadine), Joyce (Rick) and Mark (Beth). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Few Interfaith Chapel at Croasdaile Retirement Village (2600 Croasdaile Farm Pkwy, Durham, NC 27705). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Maplewood Cemetery (1621 Duke University Rd, Durham, NC 27701).
