She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Pennington and Letha Pennington (Grandma Hilltop); her husband Paul Samuel Dunlap; and her daughter Diana Faye Dunlap. She is survived by: her sons, Phil Dunlap (Anne) of Myrtle Beach and Mark Dunlap (Syvil) of Durham; her grandchildren, Stacie Nichols (Don), Nichole English, Kati Crabtree (Chad), Paul Dunlap (Ciera) and Pate Dunlap; and her great grandchildren, Curren English, Kyle Nichols, Keaton Nichols and Kaden Nichols. She is also survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clements Funeral Home (1105 Broad St, Durham, NC 27705). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Clements Funeral Chapel (1105 Broad St, Durham, NC 27705).
