We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Leroy Walker Jr. (Durham, North Carolina). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. LeRoy Walker and Katherine McDowell Walker. He is survived by: his children, Shawn McDowell Walker and Melodie Walker-Edmund (Craig Edmund); his sister Dr. Carolyn Walker Hopp; his grandchildren, Desmond Walker, Maddison and MaKayla Edmund; and his niece Dr. Wanda Wade. He is also survived by nephews, nieces and other relatives.

In lieu of flowers and to honor LeRoy's passion for flying and instilling in youth a love and appreciation for aviation, the family is requesting contributions be made to "HOCC-TAI" (Heart of Central Carolina-Tuskegee Airmen Inc.) at P.O. Box 1065, Morrisville, NC 27560 to the attention of LeRoy Walker Jr. "Cush" Memorial Fund.
