Though Leora may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Leora leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ivey Wade and Fannie Jeffries Wade; her siblings, Lancy Wade, Mamie Wade Crompton, Colleen Wade Butler, Felicia Wade Lindsay and Susie Surles McAdoo; her stepmother Irene McLean Wade; and her niece Hazel Surles Richmond.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Brown of Burlington, NC and Donna Streater Bates of Durham, NC; and her grandchildren, Kristen Lauren McDuffie of Burlington, NC and Amber Leigh Bates of Durham, NC..
