He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulysses Young and Allie Mae Lee; and his wife Geraldine Kinsey Young (Gerri). He is survived by: his sons, Philip Leo Young (Karla) of Durham and Kevin Dale Young (Peggy) of Bahama; his granddaughters, Amber Young Collins (Jonathan) and Chelsey Young Files (Greg); his great grandchildren, Breana Lynne Hardison, Conner Norris Collins and Virginia Grey Files; and his siblings, Thomas Young (Betty), Jesse Lee and Jackie Lee. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
