It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurence Xavier Gillespie (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 31, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Sherita Hardy Gillespie; his children, Taliyah Miles, Lauren Gillespie and Malachi Hardy; his parents, Phyllis Morrison and Larry Gillespie; his mother-in-law Maxine Hardy; his grandparents, Rosetta Gillespie and Leslie D. Moore; his siblings, Phylicia Gillespie and Douglas Gillespie; and his siblings-in-law, Kaleshia Hardy, Kristal Hardy and Levonne Hardy, Jr.. He is also survived by other family members and dear friends.
