With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry C. Basden of Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on April 30, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacy Basden and Annie Basden; his wife Rosalyn "Linda" Basden; and his daughter Wendy Basden Rigsbee. He is survived by: his siblings, Wayne Basden, Dale Basden and Amy Basden Brown; his stepsons, Dwayne High and Bobby High; his grandchildren, Ashton Myers (Tracy), Adam Myers (Crystal), Cassie Myers (Kyle Dobson), David "LilMan" Rigsbee Jr. and Jessica Rigsbee (Eric Clark); his great grandchildren, Mikayla Crumbley, Caleb Myers, Kailee Myers, Aidan Myers, Raelynn Myers, Kyle Dobson, Jr., Rayven Rigsbee and Danny Clark, II; and his nieces and nephews, Stephanie Brown, Robin Tubbs (Ryan), Travis Basden (Pamela) and Michael Gregory (Vanessa). He is also survived by grandfather, uncle, and best friends with his siblings.
