With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathryn Wood Denton of Durham, North Carolina, born in Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on February 20, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father George Wood; her husband R. Max Denton; her son Dennis Denton; and her siblings, George, Willie, Bennie, Marvin Wood, Hazel Ferrell, Rosalee McKenna and Grace Brown.
She is survived by: her mother Martha Wood; her daughter Jane Rose; and her son-in-law Crow Rose. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Kathryn's name to Harvest Glen Baptist Church, 1815 Glenn School Rd., Durham, NC 27704.
