He was predeceased by: his parents, Erich Max Karl Freundt and Lucie Amalie Wilhelmine Freundt (Meck); his wife Ottilie Erna Freundt (Wink); and his brothers, Kurt Emil Wilhelm Freundt, Heinz Erich Max Freundt and Willi August Karl Freundt.
He is survived by: his children, Marion Carden (Randy) of Durham, NC and Mark Freundt (Kim) of Greensboro, NC; his grandchildren, Lauren Young (Mark) of Graham, NC, Stacey Carden of Durham, NC, Ben Freundt of Jupiter, FL and Anna Freundt of Chantilly, VA; his great grandchildren, Jeremy, Miles, Cassidy and Virginia Young of Graham, NC; and his friend Najla Kurani of Gloucester, VA.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (1200 W Cornwallis Rd, Durham, NC 27705). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
