She was predeceased by: her parent Lallie Mae Guyton; her husbands, John F. Tatum, L. B. Ellis and Richard Hester; her children, Wayne Tatum and Betty Sue Ellis Hill; and her siblings, Pansy Herring and Garfield Guyton.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Herndon (Tracy) of Henderson, Sandra Ellis Sweet (Russell), Beverly Lingerfeldt (Ted) and Rick Hester (Linda). She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Duke Hospice Hock Family Pavilion.
