With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan B. Stubbs (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on February 5, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Ellen Bacon; her brother John Blake; her father Wilson Blake; and her former husbands, Ike Garrard and Sonny Inskip.
She is survived by: her husband Clarance B. Stubbs, Jr.; her son Joseph Walker Garrard (Nicole); her granddaughters, Neah and Cailyn; her daughter Jennifer Hall (Ben); her grandsons, Luke and Max; her stepdaughter Dawn Holland (Richard); her stepgrandchildren, Nathan and Kaitlyn; her stepchildren, Christopher, Brian and Tara Inskip Stutzman (Chris); her children, Fin and Beckett; her stepdaughter Emily Inskip Ladd (Derrick); and her daughter Cameran.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joan's honor to Mt. Sylvan United Methodist Church, 5731 N. Roxboro Road, Durham, NC 27712.
