He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Fish Haigler and James W. Haigler Sr.; and his son-in-law Butch O'Briant. He is survived by: his wife Gail Jeffries Haigler of Durham; his children, Tracey Haigler O'Briant and Jamie Haigler (Becky); his grandchildren, Lainey, Jacob Haigler, James and Alison O'Briant; and his brothers, Ronnie Haigler (Brenda) and David Haigler.
