He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Vickers and Catherine Coe Vickers; his son Jamie Allen Vickers; and his siblings, Thomas R. Vickers, Timothy C. Vickers, Walter Lee Vickers, II, Peggy Spivey and Lynette Vickers.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Higgs Vickers; his son Christopher T. Vickers; his grandson Chad Vickers (Rolyn); and his great grandchild Nellie Juliana Vickers. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews, other family members.
