James Sullivan Agnew Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Sullivan Agnew of Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on December 12, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Francis and Lucille Agnew; and his wife Judy. He is survived by: his sister Virginia Trenholm; his brother-in-law Marion Barnes (Kate); his nieces and nephews, Lynn Ross (Tyler), Laura Odowd (Larry) and Lisa Ben-Meir (Jake); his grandchildren, Ty Ross, Zach and Maggie Ben-Meir; his niece Emily Trenholm (Les); and his nephew Jeff Knight (Tonie).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (3639 Old Chapel Hill Rd, Durham, NC 27707).
The family asks that anyone wanting to honor Jim's memory make donations to Christ School (https://www.christschool.org), or the Alzheimer's Association.
