He is survived by: his children, Woody Browning (Nicole) of Fuquay Varina, Sue Browning Morris (Adam) of Timberlake and Jean Powell of Raleigh; his stepsons, Ron Sims (Lisa) of Oxford and Kevin Sims of Washington; his grandchildren, Holden Browning, Colby Browning, Hunter Morris, Jessica Powell and Jalen Powell; his stepgranddaughter Lucy Sims; and his siblings, Kenny Browning (Susan), Evelyn Browning White (Ronald), Tommy Browning and Eddie Browning (Debbie). He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hall-Wynne Funeral Service (1113 W Main St, Durham, NC 27701).
