He is survived by: his children, Richard Perry (Kayla) of Raleigh, NC and Kimberly Perry of Creedmoor, NC; his siblings, Ralph Perry (Carol) of Durham, NC, Felton Perry (Brenda) of Durham, NC, Shirley Byrd of Durham, NC, Janet Stewart of Durham, NC, Edith Daniels of Oxford, NC and Alma Pope (Larry) of Rougemont, NC; and his grandchildren, Ray Perry, Vaughan Perry, Kaylee Perry and Margaret Ray.
