With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gene Ball (Durham, North Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Marvin Ball Jr.; and his brother Edwin Ball. He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Ball; his children, Chris Ball (Kelli), Stephanie Arceo (Jaime) and Melanie Wyatt; his siblings, Pat Clements, Carolyn Lawrence and Steve (Kitty Ball); and his grandchildren, Alex Arceo, Mackenzie Ball, Selena Arceo, Madison Ball, Isabella Arceo, Sierra Arceo, Morgan Ball, Haley Wyatt, Halston Wyatt and Hope Wyatt Johnson. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
