Frances Hayer Robertson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frances Hayer Robertson of Durham, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Luther and Lillie Rhoades Hayer; her siblings, Johanna Clark, Harry Hayer, Ann Elsaesser, Katherine Melton, Becky Austin and Lydia Herzig; and her grandson Adam Christopher Lutz.
She is survived by: her significant other David Andrew Robertson, Sr.; her children, Virginia Wells of Durham, Luke Robertson (Wendy) of Roxboro, NC, David Robertson, Jr. (Rosie) of Hillsborough, NC and Ron Robertson (Michelle) of Union Grove, NC.; and her grandchildren, Dawn Oliver (Daniel) of Rougemont, April Robinson (Gray) of Durham, BJ Robertson of Roxboro, Jake Robertson of Union Grove and Cody Robertson of Union Grove. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Sylvan Methodist Church (5731 N Roxboro St, Durham, NC 27712).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Frances' memory to the Hock Family Pavillion or Mt. Sylvan Methodist Church in Durham, NC.
