It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Freeman Barnes of Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on March 6, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Freeman, Sr. and Lorena Keck Freeman; her husband Lexie Barnes, Jr.; her daughter Wendy Pritchett; and her brothers, John F. Freeman, Jr. and Orus L. Freeman.
She is survived by: her daughter Connie Morris (Richard); her son-in-law Garry Pritchett; her grandchildren, Megan Landre (Jason), Matthew Pritchett (Brittany), Anna Buchanan (Andrew) and Daniel Morris (Sydney); and her great grandchildren, Raelynn, Willa, London, Lincoln, Logan, Agger, Aila and Emma. She is also survived by nephews, nieces and friends she loved.
