She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Ellis Teasley and Julia Duke Teasley; her husband Winton W. Bowles; and her siblings, Doris Teasley, Thomas Teasley, Edwin B. Teasley, Odie L. Teasley, Roy G. Teasley and Wallace Teasley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Clements Funeral Home (1105 Broad St, Durham, NC 27705). A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Maplewood Cemetery (1621 Duke University Rd, Durham, NC 27701).
