Faye Hester Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Faye Hester (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on December 11, 2024 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Faye Hester to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Alonzo Painter and Geraldine Thelma Booth Painter; her brother William A. Painter Jr.; her close friend Kay Poe (Jeffrey Todd); and her aunt Sudie Malone.
She is survived by: her daughter Cyndi Hester; her nephews, Craig Painter (Pam) and Billy Painter (Julie); her great-nephews, Will Painter and Luke Painter; her sister-in-law Susan Painter (Susan Massengill); her sisters, Robin Godwin, Lou Anne Barbour and Lottie Squires; and her close friends, Jim Cochran, Hugh and Beth Osteen. She is also survived by cousins and special friends.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Immanual Baptist Church (3610 Hillandale Rd, Durham, NC 27705).
