She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Maria Parker (Rod Parker) of Durham, NC and Lucas Guttentag (Debbie Smith) of Albany, CA; her grandchildren, Ben Goldenson, Nick Goldenson and San Diego; her son Christoph Guttentag (Cathy Clabby); her grandchild Eren Guttentag of Durham, NC.; and her cousin Helga Rolfsmeyer-Dingemann.
In lieu of flowers, family members request donations be made to Book Harvest , a Durham nonprofit that puts books in the hands of children across central North Carolina.
