He was predeceased by: his parents, Lindsey Alvin Dean, Sr. and Sadie Mae McLean Dean; his son Dwight Dean, Jr.; and his siblings, Lindsey Alvin Dean, Charles Edward Dean, Otis Gene Dean and Bessie Lee Dean. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
