Don Arlen Westbrook Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2025, at the age of 83, Don Arlen Westbrook (Durham, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Don Arlen leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Don Arlen may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ennis Westbrook and Geneva Westbrook; and his brother Junious Westbrook. He is survived by: his wife Carrol Westbrook; his children, Felisha Westbrook, Phyllis Westbrook Wood (Darrell) and Neal Westbrook (Melissa); and his sister Judy Peele. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clements Funeral Home (1105 Broad St, Durham, NC 27705). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Bethel Christian Center (3518 Rose of Sharon Rd, Durham, NC 27712).
