She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Johnetta Rainey; and her siblings, Early Moss, Annie Nelson, Frances Fuller and Pearl Coleman.
She is survived by: her children, Rose Charolette Perry of Durham, NC, Johnnie Rainey Jr. (Jacquelyn) of Greenville, NC. and Clinton Rainey (Shanika) of Durham, NC.; and her siblings, Margaret Allen of Henderson, NC, Mary Glover (Clarence) of Oxford, NC, Sheila Dortch (Leonard) of Oxford, NC. and Elbert Thomas Taylor of Oxford, NC.. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
