It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Elmer Wannemacher of Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on November 18, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Wannemacher and Elmer Wannemacher. He is survived by: his wife Meg; his siblings, Jim Wannemacher (Pat), Gail Skoney (Dennis) and Carol Wannemacher (Al Kegler); his stepdaughters, Morgan Gramann (Andrew) and Kelsey Wittman (Benny Kessman); his grandchildren, Brighton, Surrey and Berkeley Gramann; his nieces and nephews, Michelle Wannemacher, Jamie Krieger (Matt), Kara Partsch (James), Lauren Skoney (Matt Franklin), Grey Kegler and Rhonan Kegler; and his in-laws, Jill Gianola (Dan Fleisch), Todd Isaacson (Janet), Kurt Isaacson (Lynn) and Peter Isaacson (Stacey Geis).
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hall Wynne Funeral Home (1113 W Main St, Durham, NC 27701).
