He was predeceased by: his parents, William Urban Lewis Jr. and Rachel Martin Lewis; his wife Elizabeth Rose Revill Lewis; and his brother-in-law Joseph Albert Revill. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Biser (Kenneth) and Christopher Lewis; his grandchildren, Gavin Lewis, Jacob Lewis (Judy), Natalia Biser and Noah Biser; his great grandchildren, Malena Lewis-Rodriguez and Maverick Outlaw; his siblings, Daniel Lewis (Christine), William Lewis and Gail Lewis Ice; and his siblings-in-law, Andy Revill and Donna Laws.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church (4511 Old NC 10, Durham, NC 27705). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
